SSL has been universally accepted on the World Wide Web for authenticated and encrypted communication between clients and servers. We have obtained the security certificate for our site from Verisign and the security encryption level on Kotak Commodities’ site is 128bit.

Here is how to activate your account, once you have received your welcome kit:

  1. Go to www.kotakcommodities.com and click on ‘Activate Account’.
  2. Enter your User ID and Initial Password in the designated space on the new page.
  3. Enter your Client ID, Initial Password and four-digit PIN.
  4. Click on ‘Submit’.

The system will now prompt you to set your trading password. Once you’ve done this, you will be asked to change your website password. Your account will be activated once you’ve changed the website password. You can now start trading through your Kotak Commodities account!

You can easily change password whenever you like. To reset password, please follow the following steps:

  1. Log in to your Trading account at www.kotakcommodities.com.
  2. Click on My Account in the trading section.
  3. You will be led to a screen where you will have to fill up your Old password, select a new password and confirm it by filling it once again in the provided slot.
  4. Click on Submit. Your website password will automatically get updated to the new one. Please use the new password whenever you log in future.

You can change password by following a simple six-step process. The steps of this process are as follows:

  1. To reset password, click on ‘Login To Trade’ at the top of this page. This link will take you to the login page for your trading account.
  2. Log in to your trading account by typing in your User Id and Password.
  3. Once you have logged in, click on the ‘My Account’ option in the menu at the top of the page.
  4. Click on ‘Change Trading Password’ on the new page that appears. This will open up a new screen.
  5. Fill in your present trading password in the designated slot. Then, key in a new trading password of your choice. Make sure that the new password is different from your last three passwords. Confirm your new password by typing it once more.
  6. Click on ‘Submit’ and your trading password will change to the new one. You can new use your new password to log in to your trading account.

All our Online Trading account holders are eligible to change their product type.

You can send us a product change request if you want your product type to be changed. We will make the change, subject to management approval.

You can clear your outstanding debit by using the ‘Fund Transfer’ option available in your online login. Alternatively, you can transfer the funds via NEFT/RTGS/Cheque to our bank account.

Please follow these steps to update the contact number(s) in your trading profile:

  1. Login to your trading account on www.kotakcommodities.com.
  2. Click on ‘My Account’ towards the top-left of the page.
  3. Click the ‘Update My Profile’ option in the sub-menu that appears. You can enter/modify your contact number and all other personal details on the page that this leads you to.
